Hi,
I have VCSA 6 deployed on my infrastructure, with 4 hosts (ESXi 6.0). The network configuration is done using vDS, with separate traffic for management, vSAN, vMotion+DRS and for VMs. Both HA and also FT enabled for some VMs too.
Currently the VCSA is on VLAN 100, with IP 10.10.100.200, I want to move this vCenter to another VLAN, thus to change the IP network to 10.10.10.x. I need to know how to complete this part, including the whole vCenter setup with HA, FT.
Heard on vCenter/VCSA 6 it is not possible to change the network, I need to do redeploy a new VCSA. If there is no way at all, can I deploy a new VCSA first before terminating the existing VCSA and move all its configuration regarding hosts, clusters, vSAN, vDS, HA, FT and everything else to the new VCSA? Any guide, link to help step by step procedure?
Also, regarding vMotion, I am having an issues, my first host has a CPU and RAM load around 97%, second host around 90%, but the third and fourth hosts are below 20%. So it looks like the load balancing and vMotion not working as desired. I want to distribute load equally on all the hosts, do I need to manually migrate VMs using vMotion or there is any way to automate it so that the VMs are load balanced equally or almost equally on all the four hosts?
