I am deploying an External PSC with the VCSA, version 6.0 U2. I have been having some issues joining an Active Directory domain after deployment, and wanted to clear up some 'order of ops' questions I had.
1. Technically you only have to join the External PSC appliance to an Active Directory domain and not the VCSA, correct?
2. When is the most appropriate time to do this? After the initial deployment of the PSC but before the VCSA deployment (using the PSC UI) ? Or is it best to wait until both the PSC appliance and the VCSA are up?
3. Where is the most appropriate place to join an AD domain? PSC UI, vSphere Web Client, CLI on the PSC appliance? Is it necessary to do this in multiple places or just one place when deploying an External PSC with the VCSA?
I've been having issues joining an AD domain through any of the UI's. I've only been able to successfully join via cli on the External PSC Appliance.
