External Windows based SSO 5.5 to PSC 6.0 upgrade - how to validate if the SSOs being upgraded are the replication partners in a single vSphere domain, but in 2 different vSphere sites

I am in the process of upgrading the vSphere 5.5 environment to 6.0 update 1.

My virtual environment consists of 2 vSphere sites, Production and DR. At present, each site has external Windows based SSOs (one in each site) to which multiple vCenters (ver, 5.5) are reporting. I am sure that I had configured both vSphere sites to be part of same vSphere domain when I did the previous upgrade from vsphere 5.1 to 5.5 an year back. But, am not sure if both of these SSOs are still remain as the replication partners as there is no option that I know of to validate if these 2 SSOs are acting as replication partners and belong to same vSphere domain.

I did the upgrade of one of these SSOs to 6.0 and as it was an in place upgrade, the upgrade Wizard did not give me any options like if I want to join the PSC to existing site or if it is going to be a new SSO in a new site etc. So, the upgrade considered the existing configurations and did an in place upgrade with the existing configurations.

When I did the upgrade of first SSO (in DR site) in my virtual environment to 6.0, this simple installation was not a concern for me (as the first SSO in a vsphere domain needs only the vSphere Site information it belongs to and upgrade could fetch this information from the existing vSphere 5.5 configuration), but now as the next step, I need to upgrade the SSO in production site which I need to point to the first PSC 6.0 (recently upgraded as mentioned above) in the existing vSphere domain (need to point to existing PSC so that I could leverage ELM feature of vSphere 6.0 between these 2 sites) and if it is the same simple installation process (without any options to point to existing vSphere domain /PSC /Site), it will be a concern for me in case if these 2 SSOs do not fall under the same vSphere replication domain /or the trust has been broken somewhere in the past.

So the question here is, is there a way to get such options asked during the upgrade wizard of an external Windows based SSO 5.5 to PSC 6.0? Or do I need to follow any other upgrade procedure when it comes to second SSO within the same vSphere domain, but in the second site? How can I find if my existing vSphere 5.5 configuration has both sites linked to each other? How can I find if the existing SSOs are the replication partners so that I could confidently go ahead with the simple SSO to PSC upgrade.

My goal here is to enable ELM between the vCenters in these 2 vSphere sites so that I could manage all vCenters in these 2 sites from a single pane of glass.
