If I do not specify the license before the %post section, or during it, in KS.CFG I get the error “The system will operate in evaluation mode for 60 days.”
I get to specify the license with the vim-cmd vimsvc/license --set command in the %firstboot section, but then the error has already appeared. I don't want it.
How is it possible to feed the installer the ESXi license during a scripted USB install so that it doesn't complain that it is missing?
